CARTER, MARION BELLE - Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 23, 2004, Mrs. Marion Belle (Sellars) Carter, 88, wife of the late Delbert Earle Carter of Seeleys Cove, NB. Born at Pennfield, N.B. October 3, 1915 she was a daughter of the late Harold G. and Jenny V. (Hunter) Sellars. A loving mother and grandmother, Marion is survived by five sons, Eldon (Mary) of Seeleys Cove, NB, Edgar (Karen) of L'Etang, NB, Sheldon of Seeleys Cove, NB, Robin (Helen) of Seeleys Cove, NB, Perry (Karrie) of St. George, NB; two daughters Debbie (Mrs. David Eagles), Lyda (Mrs. Louis Legere), all of Moncton, NB; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Sellars (Marion) of Pennfield, NB; one sister, Vera Matheson of St. George, NB; one daughter-in-law, Annette; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marion was predeceased by one son, Elliott, and grandson, Eldon. Marion was devoted to her family and was the rock on which they leaned on. Rested at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533). The service was held at Christ Church, (Anglican) Pennfield, NB, on Monday, January 26, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. Interment in the church cemetery in the spring. Donations to Charlotte County Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
