WISTED, SADIE IRENE - The death of Mrs. Sadie Irene Wisted of the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home, wife of the late Leo Joseph Wisted, occurred on Tuesday January 27, 2004 at her residence. Born October 6, 1915 in Springhill, NB she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Campbell) McMackin. Sadie had owned and operated Glenview Grocery from 1962-1980, she also worked at Fairport Motel and K-Mart. She was a former resident of St. Patrick's Street in Old East End. She is survived by her son Leo Wisted (Lorrie) of Saint John; daughter-in-law Marion Wisted of Quispamsis; brother Harold McMackin of Windsor, Ontario; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by son Robert Henry Wisted; daughter Marjorie Irene Duplessie; and sister Annie McGrath. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday January 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday January 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
