STEEVES, MARY - Mrs. Mary Steeves, of Sussex, passed away on February 3, 2004, at the age of 76. Mary was born in Montreal, Quebec on March 29, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Wasyl and Anna (Sadoway) Wercholaz and the beloved wife of the late Albert Steeves who passed away in 1995. Mary is survived by her son, Gordon Lenko and his wife Lucille of Montreal, two step daughters, Dale Taylor and her husband Sandy of Baie-Ste-Anne, NB, Nadine D'acosta and her husband Gordon of Calgary, her brother Gerry Wercholaz and his wife Mireille of Montreal. Mary is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday 2-4, 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will also take place at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, Montreal, Quebec on Monday 7-9 pm. Interment will take place at Cimetiere Notre-Dame-des-Neiges in the spring. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
