27, Eskasoni Robert Curtis Paul, 27, of 365 Castle Bay Rd., Eskasoni, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008. Born in Sydney, he was the son of Charles William Francis and Bridget Ann Marie Paul and stepdad, Robert Herney. He was a member of Holy Family parish, Eskasoni. Robert was a talented handyman who did carpentry and labour work while attending T.E.C. up to the present time. A poet and romantic at heart, he will be remembered for the poems he wrote, the practical jokes he played and the smile on his face. He was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his Kekunit-Mom, Elizabeth Doucette and stepdad, Seymour Doucette, Eskasoni. He is survived by sisters, Mary Charlotte, Membertou, Phelecia, Ally, Tiffany, Mag, Maddie, Lynn, Khrishna, all of Eskasoni, Jenna, Sydney; by brothers, Louis, Wagmatcook, Ryan and Chuck, both of Sydney, Dan, Mour, Joey, all of Eskasoni and Jr. Gould, Whycocomagh and by several nieces, nephews and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by brothers, Charlton Jay and B.J. and paternal and maternal grandparents. Visitation for the late Mr. Paul will take place Thursday after 7 p.m. at 365 Castle Bay Rd., Eskasoni. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni. Interment in the parish cemetery.
