MATTHEW DAMIEN COLEMAN
COLEMAN, MATTHEW DAMIEN - The death of Matthew Damien Coleman, 23, of Ravine Road, husband of Elizabeth (Coggan) Coleman occurred February 8, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Saint John, son of Catherine (Kelly) Coleman and the late J. David Coleman. Matt was passionate about skateboarding and snowboarding with his many buddies. He was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed 4 wheeling, getting his truck stuck, fishing and hunting. He was a gifted artist with a wonderful zest for life. Surviving besides his wife and mother are one son, Tyler James Coleman at home; sisters and brothers, Caroline Coleman of Hampton, Cathleen Coleman ND (Gordon MacDonald) of Rothesay, Christine Coleman of Fredericton, Daniel Coleman (Laurie) and Patrick Coleman (Kim) of Ravine Road, Lorraine Kelly of Toronto, Brenda Hoyt (Ian) of Lower Norton, Tim Kelly (Heidi) of Hampton; godson, David Patrick Coleman; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Colleen. Resting at his residence, 493 Ravine Road, Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Parish prayer vigil will be held Wednesday, 8 pm at his residence. The funeral will be held Thursday, 11:00 am, at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton, with funeral mass celebrated by Rev. Kevin Barry. Following cremation, interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the IWK Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), Hampton.
