
Claude Anthony MacIsaac

61, Dartmouth/Sydney It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Claude Anthony ‘Tony’ MacIsaac on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Michael J. MacIsaac and Margaret Pauline (O’Rielley) MacIsaac, formerly of Whitney Avenue. Claude worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years and in earlier years was employed with the N.S. Children’s Training Centre. In his work life he showed compassion and caring for those in his care. Claude was an avid baseball and hockey fan, never missing a game with the Leafs and Jays. He also enjoyed family get-togethers, especially in Cape Breton. His sense of humour and friendship will be dearly missed. Claude is survived by his companion, JoAnn Vincent; his children, Ronald, Brian and Mark; stepchildren, Dawn, Robin and grandchildren; his immediate family, brother, Richard (Sandra) MacIsaac, Big Pond; sisters, Paula Hines (Gordon), Howie Centre, Donna Dinaut (Alfred), Ben Eoin; nephews, Lawrence, Ewen, Dennis, Robert MacIsaac, Robert Hines; nieces, Shauna (Peter) Roach, Allison Hines, Emily Dinaut; his uncle, Joseph O’Rielley; aunts, Irene MacIsaac and Cecilia D’Agostino. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his oldest brother, Michael Joseph (M.J.); his nephew, Michael Neil and several aunts and uncles. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dartmouth Funeral Home.
