DOW, WILFRED CLIFFORD - The death of Wilfred Dow of Saint John, NB occurred on Monday, February 16, 2004 at the WhiteHall Estates, Kiersteadville, NB. Born in Saint John, son of the late James Robert and Celia (King) Dow, he was employed for many years with T.S. Simms Ltd. Wilfred was a member of Silver Links Senior Citizens Club and a member of All Saints Church in Loch Lomond. Survived by one son, Ronald (Kaye); two daughters, Hazel Melanson and Marilyn (Denton) Buck, all of Saint John; one sister, Hazel Bodman of Maine, USA; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret "Bee" (Boyle) Dow; three sons, Robert, Russell and Wilfred Jr.; and eight brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday February 17, 2004 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday February 18, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday February 19, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place following the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery Extension. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
