BARTLETT, MARVIN DOUGLAS - Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. The death of Marvin Douglas Bartlett, 76, of Bartlett Mills, NB, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2004. He was the son of the late E. Hollis and Georgie O.L. Bartlett. Predeceased by son Edward and siblings, Beverly and May Bartlett. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Moira (nee Cook), children, Elizabeth (Edwin) Stinson, Melvin (Maureen) Bartlett, Michelle Bartlett (Stirling), Timothy (Jodie) Bartlett, his six well loved grandchildren, siblings, Lawrence (Marion), Bernard, Frances (Perley) Steeves, Lester (Mardi), Hubert (Lois) and Lois (Ron) Booker. For more than 50 years he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star of St. Stephen. He served on the Board of Directors of the Passamoquoddy Lodge. As his friends could attest to, he was an avid R.V.er. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB (506-466-1844) from where funeral service will be held on Saturday February 21, 2004 at 2 PM with Rev. Buck Booker officiating. Interment at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Shriner's Hospital, Passamaquoddy Lodge or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
