KIERSTEAD, ALICE ROSEZELLA - The death of Mrs. Alice Rosezella Kierstead, wife of the late George Louis Kierstead, of Public Landing occurred on Saturday February 28, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 20, 1915 in Iron Bound Cove, NB, she was the daughter of the late Zeblin and Minnie (Corey) McAllister. Alice was a long time member of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Public Landing. She is survived by her loving children, sons Louis (Bud) Kierstead (Barbara) of Morrisdale, and Murray Kierstead of Public Landing; daughters Joyce Huskins of Burton, NB, Frances Ogden (Edward) of Public Landing, Geraldine Blizzard (Murray) of Grand Bay-Westfield, and Linda Bogle (Dan) of Public Landing; two sisters Laura Bostick of Newcastle Bridge, NB and Flossie Richardson of Rothwell, NB; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many cousins; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Mildred Mannerow; brothers Walter McAllister, Harry McAllister, Jack McAllister and Arnold McAllister; sisters Lena Brown, Rubi Betts, Lois Green and Velma Chulyk.
