ROGERS, CHRISTOPHER - At the Ridgewood Veteran's Hospital on March 1, 2004 Christopher Rogers of Saint John, husband of 60 years to Almeda (Parks) Rogers. Born in Silver Fox Bonavista Bay Newfoundland he was a son of the late David and Frances (Collins) Rogers. Before his retirement he was a Nursing Orderly at the D.V.A. Hospital and for five years he was employed with the Corp of Commissionaires. He served overseas with the Royal Navy for six years and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #64. Surviving in addition to his wife Almeda are two sons Brian and his wife Monique of Saint John, Terry and his wife Keri of Langley B.C., two daughters Eva Sears and her husband Leslie of B.C., Deborah Lee and her husband Gordon of Nerepis, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren. Predeceased by two sons David, Mark Anthony and great grandson Joshua Lee. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Monday March 8, 2004 at 1 pm. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting at "Fallsview" will take place prior to the service from 11 am to 1 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
