MUIR, ROY S. - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 29, 2004 in his 87th year. Roy will be greatly missed by Mary Frances (nee Doyle), his wife of 64 years; his children, David Muir (Pat Goodwin) of Parksville, B.C., and Lynda Muir of Ottawa; grandchildren, Alex and Nick Contreras; niece, Heather Van Tassel, and Walter Van Tassel of South Bay. A lifelong resident of Saint John, Roy served with the RCAF in World War II. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Loch Lomond Villa on Monday, March 8, at 2 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
