SEMPLE, ELIZABETH L. - The death of Mrs. Elizabeth Louise (Betty) Semple of the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB, wife of the late David Wilson Semple, occurred at her residence on Friday, March 5, 2004 in her 98th ?year. Born on March 8, 1906 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late George Burton and Winnifred Ella (Lane) Latimer. Betty was employed in sales with M.R.A.'s and American Ladies Tailoring Ltd and Furriers the better part of her working life. She then worked at Calp's Ltd. for a number of years and then on to Hoffman's Ltd. from where she retired. Betty is the last surviving member of her family. Betty is survived by her niece, Marcia Dykeman-Donahue (Ward) of Quispamsis, NB and her nephew, Lane Cunningham of Halifax, NS. She was predeceased by her sisters, Winnifred Cunningham in 1999 and Marjorie Dykeman in 2000; and her great-niece, Tanya Donahue in 1992. A graveside service will take place at Fernhill Cemetery on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at 2:00 PM. All are welcome to attend this service. Remembrances may be made to the Dr. V. A.
