RIVARD, ANTOINE - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, March 9, 2004, Mr. Antoine Rivard of Drummond passed away at the age of 82 years. He was married to the former Marie-Louise Michaud. Born at Drummond in 1921, he was a son of the late Alfred and Alvine (Lebel) Rivard. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Jim Poitras two brothers, Ti-Fred and Roland, two sisters, Ti-Vine and Colette. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven daughters, Anne-Marie Poitras (late Jim) of Fredericton, Gisele Oney (Fred) of Limestone, Maine, Jocelyne Baranek (Butch) and Marcelle Hiatt (Ron) of Bangor, Maine, Nicole Gagnon (Chin) of Lac-au-Saumon, Quebec, Ginette Chamberland (Jos) of Drummond and Manon Kavanaugh (Dave) of Grand Falls, 14 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, seven sisters, Phyllis Edwards of Brantford, Ontario, Ti-Ma Theriault (Maurice), Ti-Marthe Michaud (George), Gilberte Gagnon (Leo) and Nita Theriault (Charles) of Grand Falls, Therese Godin (Guy) and Marie-Anne Hurtubise (Yvan) of Montreal, two brothers, Will of Drummond and Jean (Mildred) of Grand Falls, several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. His funeral will be held Friday, March 12th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
