THORNE, HELEN - Entered into rest peacefully surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville ON on Thursday, March 11th, 2004. Helen Elizabeth Chittick, in her 82nd year, was the beloved wife of the late John O.L. Thorne (1999). Loving mother of John and Bev, Peter and Anu, Wendy and Art Paley, Adair and Doug Prentice and Dave and Gloria. Dear sister of Gordon and Myrna Chittick and Heather and Keith Dow all of New Brunswick and Tom and Judy Chittick of Michigan. Dearly remembered by twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Bowmanville Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bowmanville (Lambs Road and Hwy #2 East of Bowmanville), on Saturday March 13th from 6:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service in the Church on Sunday March 14th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Interment in St. Georges Cemetery in Newcastle.
