MARIE GENEVIEVE (JANE) GALLANT
GALLANT, MARIE GENEVIEVE (JANE) - The death of Marie Genevieve (Jane) Gallant of Minto occurred Sunday, March 14th at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Jane (Robichaud) Bourgeois. She was a past member of the Les Dames de Ste. Anne and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Jane is survived by five sons, Alfred (Thelma) of Hardwood Ridge, Jacques (Florence) of Moncton, Edmund (Jeanette) of Saint John, Peter of Balmoral and Andrew (Laverna) of St. Martins; two daughters, Jeanette Cunningham (Michael) of Fredericton and Anne Marie Holt of Calgary; 19 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Josephine Doucett of Moncton, Eva Melanson of Gardiner, MA and Anita LeBlanc of Moncton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Cyrus J. Gallant in 1965, two sisters, Julie Bourque and Louise LeBlanc; three brothers, Joseph, Jack and John. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 17th, 2004, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridgit's Cemetery at a later date.
