ELEANOR M. HAWKES

HAWKES, ELEANOR M. - Eleanor Margaret Hawkes of Smiths Creek passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 27, 2004. Born in Sussex, NB on October 20, 1946 she was a daughter of Joseph Albert and Margaret Adrienne (Parlee) Taylor of Sussex Corner. In addition to her parents, Eleanor is survived by her husband Ralph Hawkes of Sussex Corner, three daughters, Patty Howe and her husband Bill of Smiths Creek, Susan Pearson and her husband John of Smiths Creek, Kathy Mullin and her husband Marc of Berwick, one son Stephen Hawkes of Edmonton, AB, three granddaughters, Stefanie Clain and her husband Danny of Cornhill, Stacey Howe and Shana Howe, five grandsons Tanner Pearson, Taylor Pearson, Jake Mullin, Jamie Mullin and Joel Mullin, one great granddaughter Katie Clain, four brothers Paul Taylor and his wife Thelma, John Taylor and his wife Mildred, both of Sussex Corner, Doug Taylor and his wife Ann of Lower Millstream and Tom Taylor and his wife Nadine of Sussex Corner, three sisters Faith McMillan and her husband Mike of Sussex, Bonnie Taylor and her husband Vince of Saint John and Elaine Moss and her husband Dave of Knightville, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved a good family get together for a barbecue and a singsong of country music. She fulfilled her life long dream to visit Nashville and The Grand Ole Opry. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Sussex Wesleyan Church on Wednesday March 31, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Stephen Bradley officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.sussexfh.com
