McEWEN, KENNETH MICHAEL (MIKE) - The death of Kenneth Michael (Mike) McEwen, husband of Patricia B. (Kane) McEwen, of Mackie Drive, Saint John, West occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at his residence. Born in Saint John he was the son of Geraldine (Eagles) and the late Kenneth McEwen. He was a member of St Rose Parish and was employed with Irving Pulp and Paper for many years and recently employed with the Canadian Tire Store on the Westside. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his sons, David and Sean of Saint John; his brothers, Paul (Marion) of Nova Scotia, and Daniel of Saint John; his sister, Mary Ellen of New Zealand; his granddaughter, Kylie Marie and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
