RUTH GREENLAW

GREENLAW, RUTH - Peacefully, at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB on April 2, 2004, Mrs. Ruth Greenlaw, widow of H. Burdett Greenlaw. Born on Grand Manan Island, NB, on July 15, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Guptill and Lena M. (Lakeman) Guptill. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by one son, Pastor Laurie Greenlaw (Barbara) of Millerton, PA; one granddaughter, Denise Hultz (Daryl) of Millerton, PA; one grandson, Brock Greenlaw (Laurie Ann) of Elmira, NY; three great-granddaughters, Kara, Paige, and Lorelei of Elmira, NY; three great-grandsons, Derek of Elmira, NY, Nicholas and Joshua of Millerton, PA; one sister, Kathleen Stuart of Lambertville, Deer Island, NB; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and Leonard, and two sisters, Beatrice and Frances. Ruth was employed as an office clerk, working in the Payroll Department over 20 years, until her retirement with H. W. Welch Ltd., and was a member of the Wesleyan Church Blacks Harbour, NB. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Sunday, April 4, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 pm. The service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at 7: 30 pm. with Rev. Bruce Cheney officiating. Interment will take place at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Passamaquoddy Lodge would be appreciated by the family. (www.stgeorgefh.ca)
