KENNEDY-DEMMINGS, EILEEN - Eileen Kennedy-Demmings died peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on April 2, 2004 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Jerry and Ruth (Housen) Kennedy, and the wife of Rick Demmings. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her husband, Rick of Fredericton, her father Jerry Kennedy, Saint John, brothers Blake (Maureen) Kennedy of Rusagonis, NB, Kevin (Lisa) Kennedy of Barrie, ON, and her sister Joanne (Lee) Boyer of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB. She was a beloved aunt to Aaron, Sarah, Scott, Mark, Brent, Lindsey, Kadey, Chelsey, Keenan, Mollie, Michelle, Christian, Keaton, and Chandler, and special great-aunt to Kelsey, Julia, Ethan and Landen. Eileen graduated from St. Vincent's High School in Saint John, St. Thomas University (B.A. and B.Ed.) and most recently from UNB with her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught in various schools in District 17 for the past 26 years. Eileen's passion was her cross-stitching. She also enjoyed reading, travelling, gardening, music, and her beloved cat "Kennedy".?She was predeceased by her mother, Ruth, and a brother, Jerdy. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, April 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial mass will be held Tuesday April 6 at 4:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Loisville St., Oromocto.
