GRIFFIN, GORDON DANIEL - Gordon Daniel Griffin passed away at home in Fredericton, NB on Saturday April 10, 2004, Gordon Daniel Griffin formerly of Saint John, husband of Mary (Morrell) Griffin. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Daniel and Jean (Hunter) Griffin. He was a graduate of Saint John High and served with the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He was retired from Canada Customs and Revenue after 35 years of service as a Customs and Excise Officer. Surviving are two sons; Daniel and his wife Marjorie Griffin of Saint John and Timothy and his wife Lynn Griffin of Fredericton, five grandchildren; Jacob, Shelly-Anne, Elizabeth Marie, Katie-Lynn and Colleen. Predeceased by a sister Olive Makepeace. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held from the CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) Saint John West at 11 am, Wednesday, April 14, 2004. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
