WHIPPLE, DOUGLAS J. - At the age of 65, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April, 17th, 2004; Douglas James Whipple of East Saint John; Born in Saint John, NB he is the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Hanley) Whipple. Doug was employed with Irving Paper for approximately 25 years. He had also worked for the Saint John DryDock for about 10 years. Doug is survived by two sons Brad (Sharon) and Sean all of East Saint John, one granddaughter Robyn Whipple, several cousins. Doug was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April, 21st, 2004 (with time to be announced) from St. Anne's Church East Saint John. The interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Followed by a reception at the "Fallsview" Family Reception Center
