95, Sydney It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Donovan which occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care facility surrounded by her family. Born in Boisdale, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Flora (MacIntyre) Campbell. She resided at Harbourstone for five years and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed listening to bagpipes and fiddle music and spending time with her family. To know her was to love her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mary Elizabeth is survived by her five children, John MacDonald, Ontario, Steve MacDonald (Shirley), Alex (Karen) MacDonald, Marie (Max) Weatherbee, Margie (Dave), all of Sydney. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Angus Joseph MacDonald, second husband, George Donovan, siblings, Alex Dan, Vince, Lamey, Veronica, Christine, Theresa and Katherine Effie. Visitation will take place Wednesday Oct. 22, 2008, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Fr.
