BROOKS, ROBERT VERNON - Friends throughout the community will be saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Vernon Brooks of Nackawic, NB on April 29, 2004. Born May 10, 1930 to the late Wilber and Gladys (Adams) Brooks at Hartfield NB. He is survived by his children, Tony (Susan), Richmond Corner, NB, Terry Cronkhite (Ersul), Grafton, NB, Stewart, Fredericton, NB, Betty Stokes (Greg), Beardsley Rd., NB, ten grandchildren, brothers Guy and Harry both of Hartfield, NB, Dean, Toronto, Ont, a step brother, Urben Moorcroft and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Mary (MacMaster) Brooks, a brother Allison, and a son Bobby. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd. Jacksonville, NB where friends may call on Saturday May 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm from the funeral home. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
