LACEY, DONNA MARIE (MAYSFIELD) - Donna Marie (Maysfield) Lacey, at the Oromocto Public Hospital on April 30th, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of George Lacey of Queenstown, NB. Born in Pleasant Villa, NB on January 8th, 1951, and was the daughter of Ina Maysfield and the late John Maysfield. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Queenstown, where she taught Sunday School until her health failed. Donna is survived by her husband George, two sons, William (Tanya) of Queenstown and Timothy; one daughter, Amanda, three brothers, Russell (Teresa) of Burton, Douglas (Margaret) of Wainwright, AB and Stephen (Sharon) of North Sydney, NS; two sisters, Evelyn Savoie (Lorenzo) of Saint John and Tracey Stilwell (Brian) of Burton; her maternal grandmother, Verna Warman of Viking, AB and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by her father, John Maysfield. Donna was always willing to help in community events and will be sadly missed by her family and the community. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, May 2nd, from 7-9 and Monday, Monday, May 3rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the St Stephen's Anglican Church, Queenstown, on Tuesday, May 4th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Gerald Laskey will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining Cemetery.
