MRS. SUSAN EMILY BRAYDON

BRAYDON, MRS. SUSAN EMILY - The death of Mrs. Susan Emily Braydon, loving wife of Glenn Braydon, of Saint John, occurred on Monday May 3, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1954 in Woodstock, NB she was the daughter of Neville Hill and the late Marjorie (Price) Hill. Susan lived in Hartland, NB, moving to Saint John in 1965. She graduated from Saint John High School in 1973 and married Glenn in 1981. She worked as an accounting clerk for Thornes Hardware, Kelly Tire, various car dealerships, Fairweather Tire and H & R Block. Susan also worked as a partner with her daughter Sarah for Beach Hill Gifts. She was an enthusiastic parent spectator for children's hockey games, musical performances and swim meets, brownie and Girl Guide leader and beaver Parent Volunteer Loch Lomond Division. Susan was a member of Douglas Avenue Christian Church. Besides her loving husband Glenn, father Neville, she is survived by her son Christopher and daughter Sarah both at home; step mother Leota Hill; sister Jean Nichols of Long Reach; brothers David (Lori) Hill of Summerville and Weldon (Kathleen) Hill of Cold Lake, AL; nephews Curtis Hill of Calgary and Ben Hill of Summerville; nieces Lori Marr (Steven) of Long Reach, Brenda Nichols (Donnie Stein) of Saint John, Natalie Caouette (Rob) of Sask., and Julia Hill of Summerville; aunt Pat Hill of Hartland; three great nephews Tyler, Brad Marr and Nikolas Stein; great niece Noelle Caouette and several cousins. Besides her mother Marjorie, she was predeceased by sister in law Theckla (Brost) Hill and brother in law Bordie Nichols. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Douglas Avenue Christian Church on Friday May 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
