MELBOURNE ADAIR
ADAIR, MELBOURNE - Melbourne Adair of Poodiac, NB, passed away at his residence on May 6, 2004 at the age of 80. Born in Poodiac, NB on February 9, 1924, he was the son of the late Esley and May?(Baxter) Adair and the husband of the late Eva (McGivery) Adair, who passed away in 1976. Melbourne is survived by his daughter, Ruby Rouse and Gary Janes of St. George, NB, his son Paul and his wife Dawn of Hammondvale, two brothers Hartley Adair and his wife Betty of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Otty Adair and his wife Hattie of Smiths Creek, three sisters, Lois DeVine and Doris Payne both of Hillsdale and Daisy McKenney of Hampton, four Grandchildren, Kim, Stephanie, David and Michael, five great grandchildren; Joey, Nick, Morgan, Maggin and Christopher, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Melbourne was predeceased by his sister Ethel McGaghey, and his great granddaughter Courtney. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr. Sussex, where visitation will be held on Sunday 2-4, 7-9pm. The Funeral service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday May 10th, 2004 at 10:00am with Rev. Allen Tapley officiating. The interment will be in Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner.
