BROPHY, RICHARD P. - Richard P. Brophy 56, of Dieppe passed away at his residence on Monday May 10, 2004. Born in Newcastle, son of Patrick Brophy of Blackville and the Late Marie (Chevarie) Brophy. Richard was employed with Acadia Waste Petroleum Management, Dieppe and was retired from the city of Saint John with 26 years service. He was a Past Board member of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saint John and was an outdoor enthusiast, especially fly fishing on the Miramichi River. Besides his father Pat (Doreen), Richard will be sadly missed by his wife Jeanne (Petitpas): Sons; Ross (Joelle), Blackville; Colin (Crystal), Joshua, Petawawa, ON: Grandchildren: Dolan, Alora: Brothers; Bruce (Linda), Chester Grant, NS; Sheldon ( Della), Miramichi, Jeff (Denise), Upper Blackville: Several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, predeceased by one brother Perry. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Friday 2-4, 7-9.
