HICKS, FRANCES VERNON - The death of Frances Vernon Hicks, wife of the late Randolph Hicks, occurred on May 12, 2004, at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (MacIntosh) Miller. She and her husband owned and operated River View Poultry Farms. They enjoyed the company of their many friends over the years. She is survived by her daughter Joan Mercier and her husband Mel of Rothesay, her sister Miriam (Miggy) Cameron of Saint John, her grandchildren Steven (Nadia), Michael and Marlaine Mercier and Keith and Janet Hicks and her great-grandchildren Olivia, Hannah and Luke. She was predeceased by her son Donald Hicks, brother Bert Miller and sister Effie Ashton. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2004, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Following the service cremation will take place at Brenan's Crematorium.
