PELKEY, CELIA ELDARA - Celia Eldara Pelkey went to be with her Lord on May 11, 2004 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth-Andover at the age of 83. Celia was the only child to Elmer and Laura (Oneal) Smith. Predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1971, sons Arnold, Ervin and Freeland, grandson Randy. Survived by eight children Juanita Pelkey and Norma Taylor of Perth-Andover, Carl (Margaret) Pelkey of Limestone, Me., Avis (Newman) DeMerchant of Aroostook, Phyllis (Wayne) Janosik of Royce Texas, Lois (Gene) Morrow of Fort Fairfield, Me., Marlene Tompkins of Perth-Andover and Patricia (Don) Watson of Aroostook; 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Resting at Calvary Tabernacle on Thursday May 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Christian service will be celebrated on Friday May 14 from Calvary Tabernacle with Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. Interment in the Sunset Cemetery, California Settlement. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sunset Cemetery or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
