MARY CHARLOTTE DICKINSON
DICKINSON, MARY CHARLOTTE - Mary C. Dickinson died peacefully at home in Scott Siding, on May 22, 2004, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Brown's Mountain on June 2, 1918, a daughter of the late James and Annie (Thompson) Keilty. Mary is survived by George, her devoted husband of nearly sixty eight years and her four children, Hayden, Nestleton, ON, Greg (Teresea), Scott Siding, Brenda Sisson, Perth-Andover and Ann Grant (Gregory), Grand Bay-Westfield. Mary was a loving grandmother and great grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Elwood and William Keilty and two sisters, Anna MacIlroy and Jean Gaskin. Mary's entire life was one of selfless devotion to her family. She was a wonderful cook and in her kitchen the tea pot was always "on." She will be remembered with love by her family and her many friends for her quiet humor and gentle spirit. Resting at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Canterbury with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 11 a.m. by Rev. Dan Melanson. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul and Daniel Sisson, Jamie and Joel Grant, Andrew, Russell, John, Robert, Ray and Richard Dickinson.
