LESTER, CHARLOTTE RUTH -1957-2004 - Charlotte Ruth Lester of Rothesay NB, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday May 25th,2004. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband Donnie Lester, her mother Ruth (Smith) VanWeston, two sons, Scott at home and Allan and (Melissa Ross) Robicheau of Hunter Lake, two daughters, Wendy (Ian) Whittaker of Upper Golden Grove and Kalina at home. Three brothers, Bert (Catherine) Large of Deer Island, Ricky (Jane) VanWeston of Saint John and Lee (Lisa) of Grand Bay-Westfield, five sisters, Ann VanWeston of Saint John, Mae (Tommy) Campbell of Saint John, Velma (Billy) Davis of Saint John, Elinor (Bob) Brown of Grand Bay-Westfield and Terri (Rodney) Devost of Saint John, three grandchildren, Shelby, Emma and Griffin, two step grandchildren, Dawson and Megan and a special family pet "Angel". Charlotte was predeceased by her dad, Joseph VanWeston. Charlotte's objective in life was to be the resilient, loving, supportive and committed wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to those she loved. Being a hockey mom, tea mom, school mom and most importantly a loving mom to her four children, helped to accomplish her goals she had set for herself. Charlotte's mothering nature brought her close to the hearts of all she came in contact with. Her strong interest in photography, tole painting, camping, scrap booking, quilting, gardening, and all round celebration of life uplifted everyone's spirits. Charlotte fought a bitter battle with breast cancer and beat it, making her a strong supporter of the Breast Cancer Campaign. Charlotte will be loved and missed by many. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road. Saint John, N.B. (646-2424) With visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral service will be held from the Glen view United Church, on Saturday May 29th, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
