GREEN, CLAIR R. - Peacefully at home, on May 26, 2004, surrounded by his family, and following a courageous battle with cancer, Clair R. Green of Wapske, NB passed away in his 72nd year. Born on August 31, 1932, he was the son of the late William Green and A. Janet (Caldwell) Green. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) (Crawford) Green; four sons: Derrick (Kim Ogilvy), Wapske, NB; Thomas, Brantford, ON; Gary (Lorie), Riley Brook, NB; Michael (Lisa Christensen), Plaster Rock, NB; and one daughter, Kelly (Michael Hollins) of O'Dell, NB; two brothers: Norval, Wapske, NB, and Malcolm (Emma), Brampton, ON. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Christa, Kendall, Brendan, Kara, Neil, and Brook. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Kendall (1979), and one sister, Alice (1949). By request of the family, the body has been forwarded for cremation. The remains will rest at St. George's Anglican Church, Plaster Rock, NB on Sunday May 30, 2004 with visitation from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday May 31, 2004 at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. David Perks officiating. Committal and interment of ashes will follow at the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery. A time of fellowship will be held in the church hall immediately following the service.
