TAYLOR, ALBAN R. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday, May, 29th, 2004; Alban R. Taylor, husband of Carole (Fife) Taylor of Saint John West, NB. Born in South Bay, NB he is the son of the late George and Catherine Taylor. Alban was employed with the Dept. of Supply and Services and laterally with the Canadian Frigate Program based out of Saint John, retiring in 1997. Surviving in addition to his wife Carole are his sisters, Lida Kierstead, Ellen Ryder, Eveline (Malcolm) Scott, Evangeline Lee, Myrtelle (Albert) Speight, Doris Taylor, his brother, Donald (Brenda) Taylor, sister Judith (Kenneth) Galbraith, mother in law Gladys Fife and brother in law William Fife, nieces, nephews, and cousins, grand nieces and grand nephews. Alban was predeceased by two infant brothers, and sister Mary Darlene. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, NB (506-634-1701) from where the visitation will be held on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June, 2nd, 2004 from the chapel of "Fallsview" at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
