ALAN BAINBRIDGE
BAINBRIDGE, ALAN - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Monday, May, 31st, 2004; of Quispamsis, NB, a proud Geordie born in Gateshead, England. He is the son of the late William and Ann (Haffey) Bainbridge. Alan was employed as a Building Inspector with the City of Saint John for over twenty five years retiring five years ago, Alan was previously a shipbuilder by trade and was brought to Canada in 1972 to teach his craft. He was a former member of the Simonds Lions Club. An artist who loved painting and writing, an avid Newcastle United Supporter as well as a collector of music and classic movies. Alan is survived by daughter Elaine and her husband Scott Bishop and Gizzie from Fredericton, son David and his wife Andrea, granddaughters Alisha and Jennifer of Quispamsis, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Friday, June, 4th, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service at the home of his son David. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
