EVANS, MARJORIE E. - The death of Miss Marjorie E. Evans of 81 Main St. occurred unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, May 31, 2004. Miss Evans was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Dwyer) Evans, and had been employed in the Circulation Dept. of the Times Globe for a number of years. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League; the Legion of Mary; and the Forever Young Seniors Club. She is survived by two brothers, William and Murray Evans (Peggy), both of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Thursday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
