60, Cheticamp Thomas Lamont ‘Monty’ Campbell, 60, of Cheticamp, passed away suddenly Oct. 28, 2008, at home. Born in Baddeck, he was a son of the late Thomas and Sadie (MacDonald) Campbell. He worked as a supervisor for Nova Scotia Power for 32 years. A devoted father, husband and grandfather to a special grandson. His favourite hobbies were gardening and playing cribbage. He is survived by his wife, Germaine Aucoin; one son, Tommy (Wanda) Campbell, Cheticamp; one brother, Edwin Campbell, Baddeck; one brother-in-law, Lloyd MacRitchie, Baddeck; many nieces and nephews; and one grandson, Cameron Campbell. He was predeceased by one brother, Garfield Campbell and one sister, Elsie MacRitchie. No visitation as per his wishes. Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cheticamp Funeral Services Ltd.
