87, Sydney Mary Catherine MacKinnon, 87, a resident of the Cove Guest Home, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at the Cove. Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ann (Hutchinson) MacIsaac. Surviving are her stepdaughter, Mary, Victoria, B.C.; daughters, Heather Weatherbee, Ruth Madden, Cheryl Feener, all of Sydney; sons, Bernie (Claire) Landry, Kitchener, Ont., Ernest, Dartmouth; stepson, Henry (Laura), Hay River, N.W.T.; son-in-law, Darryl; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Calvin in 2007, sister, Annie White and brother, Bernard. Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Sydney Memorial Chapel from 2-4 p.m., with a prayer service at 4 p.m., Rev. Robert Lyle officiating.
