He leaves to mourn his loving family, wife Sandra Chubbs; son: Joshua Chubbs; sisters: Carol (Gary) Butt, Glenda (Kenneth) Yetman, Judy Slade (Martin Walsh); parents, William and Gertrude Chubbs; sisters-in-law: Irene (Graham) Williams, Wanda (Bruce) Williams, Joan Jackson, Ethel Jackson (Warwick Ryan); brother-in-law Bertram Jackson; nephews and nieces: Garett and Megan Butt, Amanda Butt and Stephanie Yetman, Michael and Jeffery Slade, Kevin Dennis and Andy Williams, Karen Ford, Linda Williams, Jennifer Seigh; Godchildren: Berkley Colbourne III and Emily Duke and a large number of other relatives and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade's Funeral Home, POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR between the hours of 10:30 - 12 noon, 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to the Bert Chubbs Memorial Fund.
