WHELAM, ALAN - Alan Whelam passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday June 13th, 2004. Born in England on January 21st, 1936, he was the son of the late Edwin and Margaret (Burns) Whelam. Alan is survived by his loving wife Christine (Gibson) Whelam, two sons, Stephen (Sandra) of Saint John and Alan of England, two daughters, Jackie (Rob) Phillips of Rothesay and Debbie Keyes (Randy Trites) of Saint John, one brother John (Winn) of England, two sisters, Betty Tatters and Olive Carney both of England, six grandchildren, Colin, Aaron, Taylor, Jesse, Kerstyn, and Breanna and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Alan is predeceased by a brother, Teddy, brothers-in-law, Bob Tatters, Bob Carney, George, and Harvey, two sisters, Iris and Joyce. Alan was also an avid soccer fan. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday evening June 16th, 2004 at 7pm at the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel".
