FAYE MARGARET LeBEL

LeBEL, FAYE MARGARET - Faye Margaret LeBel of Plaster Rock died, as she lived, with grace and dignity after a brief illness at the Edmundston Regional Hospital on June 18, 2004. Faye was the loving and devoted wife of the late Maurice L. LeBel and beloved mother of Maureen Porter (Garry) of Plaster Rock, Gordon (Gail) LeBel of Fredericton, Gregory (Darlene) LeBel and Kent (Kim) LeBel, both of Plaster Rock. Precious sister of Audrey MacKinnon (Bill) of Doaktown, Helen Frenette of Eden, N.C., Dale (Ruth) Robertson of Plaster Rock, Betty Stevenson of Cambridge, ON, Myrna Gunter (George) of Fredericton, Cheryl Robertson of Quispamsis; a dear sister-in-law of Gertrude Shephard of Temperance Vale and Claudette LeBel of Plaster Rock; loving grandmother to nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Helen Robertson and one grandchild. Faye's community involvement was exemplary. She received a volunteer award from the province. She was an active member of the United Church of Canada and a church choir member. She enjoyed the United Church Women, was an M and S enthusiast, an activities session member, and attended Woolastook Presbytery. She was a tireless worker for the Progressive Conservative Party in the province and a Lifemember of the federal P.C. Party. Resting at St. Andrew's United Church of Canada in Plaster Rock with visitation on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday June 21, 2004 at 4 pm from the church. Rev. Ellen Flemming officiating. Interment in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to St. Andrew's United Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
