AUCOIN, MAUREEN MARY - The death of Mrs. Maureen Mary Aucoin, loving wife of Melvin, of Willow Grove, occurred unexpectedly on Friday June 18, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1933 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late John and Emily (Cormier) Gaudet. Besides her devoted husband Melvin, she is survived by her loving children, sons, Raymond Aucoin (Sheila) and Sam Aucoin (Pam) both of Saint John; daughters Esther Rouzes (Tom) of Saint John, Phyllis Miller (Neil) of Halifax and Elaine Brooks of Truro; sisters Joan Meals (Leroy) of California, Peggy Walsh of Saint John and Irene White (Austin) of Newfoundland; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Sheila Aucoin; and brothers Lionel Gaudet and Roger Gaudet. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday June 22, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
