Alice Veronica LeBlanc age 89, of Amherst and formerly of Joggins, N.S. passed away Friday, November 16, 2007 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Joggins, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Daisy (Belliveau) Terrio. Alice was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins, all her life. She is survived by her husband Darrell of 65 years, two sons James (Linda) of Hamilton, ON and Gerard (Irene) of Ottawa, one brother Fred (Myrtle) of Joggins, one sister Kathleen Mills of Parrsboro and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons Patrick and Darrell in infancy and two brothers Kenneth and Elmer and one sister Rita Dujay. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2 p.m. from St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins with Father David MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in the Ragged Reef Cemetery, Joggins. Donations in Alice's memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or to the charity of your choice.
