RUMMING, MRS. EMILY JANE - Mrs. Emily Jane Rumming, of 20 Pitt Street, Sussex, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on July 1, 2004 at the age of 87 years. She was born in Ladysmith BC on June 1, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Isabel (Glassey) Laurison. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Clifford Rumming who passed away in 1991. Emily is survived by her son Bill and his wife Janice of Sussex and Fred Rumming of Nanaimo; 10 grandchildren: Phillip, Christine, Kim, Jason, Julia, Allison, Joseph, Katie, Jeffery, Robyn; 10 great Grandchildren: Sandra, Myles, Abby, Heath, Shea, Cheyenne, Madeline, Connor, Jayden, Brady; her nieces and nephews Richard Hill, Carla Harper and her husband Jim, Sherry Clarke and Ken Ball, Laurie Dobbell and her husband Dean, Ernie Rosenbloom and his wife Pam and Lorraine Given. Emily was predeceased by three sisters Winnifred, Grace, Alberta and by her nephew Dale. Emily and her husband Ernest owned and operated Contact Creek Esso on the Alaskian Highway in the Yukon. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall and enjoyed photography. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Emily's request there will be no visitation.
