RUFF, THERESA - After a courageous battle with Leukemia and with her family by her side, Theresa Ruff of Mapleview, age 57, passed away peacefully at Tobique Valley Hospital on July 9, 2004. Born in Bagotville, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emilia Coulombe. She leaves behind her husband David Ruff; her daughters Sandra Ruff (Peter Deering) of Newfoundland, Tanya Long (David) of Kingston, ON, Christine Ruff (Harold Lavigne) of Draton Valley, AB, Suzanne Rafuse (Kelly) of Edmonton, AB; sisters Lisette St-Pierre (Robert), Monique Tremblay (Lucien) both of Montreal, Denyse Desmeules (Epipham) of Tracy, Quebec, Madelaine Dallaire (Victor), Huguette Gobeil (Alain) both of La Baie, Quebec; brothers Clement and Roger Coulombe of La Baie, Quebec, Gerard Coulombe of Montreal; and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Andre and Gary Coulombe. Theresa was a member of the Tobique Lions Club and the Sisson Brook Women's Institute. Resting at Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock with visitation on Monday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 13, 2004 at 3 pm from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Plaster Rock. Father Pierre Thibodeau officiating. Interment in Burntland Brook Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
