BREAU, FREDERICK JOSEPH - 59, of Halifax, formerly of Saint John, NB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends on July 11, 2004, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of Elmer and the late Blanche Breau. He was a former physical training instructor with the Canadian Armed Forces, Coast Guard, Icebreakers, auxiliary vessels, DND Dockyard and Canadian Corps of Commisionaires. His hobbies included reading, sports and movies. He is survived by loving friend, Amy Moonshadow; coworker, Sonny Zinck; daughters, Andrea Breau, Belleville, Ont., and Michelle Breau, Winnipeg, Man., sisters, Dale (Gary) and Sheila (Bruce) Curwin; brothers, Allen (Linda), Jerry and Paul Breau, all of New Brunswick; grandchildren, Devin and Mary Jayne Breau Hinton. No visitation by family request. Christian burial service will be held in his home town of Saint John, NB, at a later date. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
