CHARLES ROACH

ROACH, CHARLES - At Hotel Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, July 15, 2004, Mr. Charles Roach of Grand Falls (Portage) passed away at the age of 93 years. He was the husband of the late Imelda Pelletier. Born at Grand Falls in 1911, he was the last surviving child of the late Thomas and Maria (McCarthy) Roach. He had been a resident of Victoria Glen Manor. Well known for his musical talents, he played many years with the Wednesday Evening Fiddlers. He is survived by four sons, Norman (Judy) of Moncton, Andre (Mary) of Fredericton, Delorne (Diana Hansen) of Grand Falls and Brian (Joanne) of Moncton, four daughters, Jo Ann (Fred Dionne) of Waterdown, Ontario, Marie Roach (Greg) of Caswell, Maine, Darlene Roach Butler (Jim) of California Settlement and Nora Beaulieu (Gerard) of Drummond, 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. His funeral will be held Monday, July 19th at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls (Portage), with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
