GILLESPIE, RONALD (RON) SR. - The death of Ronald (Ron) Gillespie Sr., husband of 36 years of Bonnie (Hunter) Gillespie, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 16, 2004, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late George and Evelyn (Raynes) Gillespie. Ron was a long time employee of Humpty Dumpty Foods Ltd. He enjoyed woodworking and other "5 Minute Jobs" as well as his grandchildren. His unique sense of humor, infectious laugh and HEADSTRONG attitude will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ron is survived by his son Ron (Catherine) of Rothesay, daughter Rhonda (Joseph) Morin of Saint John; five grandchildren Alexandra, Gabrielle and Mackenzie Gillespie, Owen and Anna Morin; brother George (Sandra) Gillespie; three sisters Gwen Messer, Carol Gillespie and Joyce Murray, as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Sunday July 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 19th, 2004 at 11:00 am from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel.
