ANDERSON, AVIS PATRICIA - Went home to be with her Lord following a two year battle with cancer at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday July 19, 2004, Avis Patricia Anderson age 63 of Browns Flat, wife of the late Harry Leonard Anderson. Born in Nova Scotia she was a long time resident of Browns Flat, and was a member of the Browns Flat Baptist Church. Avis was a respected member of the Grand Bay / Westfield Liberal Association. She was an avid quilt maker and was active in her community. Avis loved her summers at the cottage at Oromocto Lake and loved to hunt and fish. She was a caregiver to many people. Surviving are four sons; Larry and his fiance Laurie of Ontario, Thomas and his wife Wanda of Saint John, Steven of Browns Flat and Harry and his fiance Heather of Browns Flat, two daughters; Debra and her husband Eric of Hatfield Pt, and Helena of Gagetown, NB. Avis is also survived by her loving companion Reed Warman, son; Chris and his wife Shelley and family, three brothers; Doug Donovan, Peter Donovan and Ken Donovan, 12 grandchildren; Alisha, Adam, Corey, Kayla, Kyle, Gloria Lynn, Casey, Sarah, Mitchell, Daniel, Kristine and Jordan. Predeceased by her husband Harry L. Anderson and one brother and one sister. Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Funeral Service will be held Friday July 23, 2004 at 2pm from the Browns Flat Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Browns Flat Baptist Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
