BOWLAND, RALPH M. - The death of Mr. Ralph M. Bowland, loving husband of Jane (Black) Bowland of St. Martins occurred on Wednesday July 21, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1936 in St. Martins, he was the son of Maurice Bowland and the late Mary (McFarlane) Bowland. Ralph was a Truck Driver/Mechanic for Kathron Construction for several years. Besides his loving wife Jane and father Maurice, he is survived by his sons Randy (Sheryl), Tony and Keith all of St. Martins; three granddaughters Jenna, Natalie and Rebecca; sisters Clytie Scott of St. Martins, Leah Gallagher of Lakewood and Lynn Bell (Larry) of Rothesay; sister in law Doreen Bowland of Lakewood; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother he was predeceased by an infant daughter Cynthia; brother Raymond and sister Rhoda Ellis. A Memorial Service will be held from Holy Trinity Church, St. Martins on Saturday July 24, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church an hour before the service. Interment will follow the service in Mosher Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice.
