MOORE, AUDREY JEAN - The death of Audrey Jean (Thorne) Moore, wife of the late Donald Gibson Moore of Saint John, NB passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Bertha (Laskey) Thorne. Audrey loved her family and enjoyed knitting and cooking for them, especially making cookies for the grandchildren; activities in which she had been involved were bowling, the Seaview Community Club and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Survived by two daughters, Barbara Moore at home, and Margo (Earle) Lawson ; one son, Donald (Arlene) Moore all of Saint John; one grandson, Matthew Lawson; three granddaughters, Shannon Lawson, Emily Moore and Monica Moore; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Audrey was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Howard Thorne. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday, July 23, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Anglican Parish Cemetery, Black River, NB. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
